I'm not using any other 3rd party software to emulate a xbox controller. I've currently got Steam recognizing the PS4 controller and have PS4 controller support enabled in steam (which is detected and works perfectly) However if I try to use the controller wirelssly through a PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor For PC The steam or Xbox button prompts will appear. If I plug the controller into the USB and into the PC the prompts will appear. Thanks in advance for any help and I must say besides these issue I'm really liking the new input system.Can anyone get the PS4 controller button prompts working with Witcher 3 when using the controller wirelessly? I really don't want to switch input systems as we have most of our input for the core of the game and menus already working great minus these two, kind of show stopping issues. Do I need to switch to rewired or can someone confirm that this will this be fixed in that time period. Our game will be in development for 2 more years. I suspect a lot of our user base will want to use steam remote play so no having this feature isn't acceptable for us. I know this is already a reported bug, but it's frightening to see the issue written off as 3rd party at the moment. The second is that the controllers don't work at all for steam remote play. I tend to have it turned off when playing other steam games and it usually works fine. I don't like activating this setting as it introduces some input lag. The first is that if I don't go into controller settings and turn on PS4 configuration support the PS4 controller doesn't work.
However I have two issues after downloading the build and running from steam. I've got all my input working great with the new input system in a stand alone build, mouse keyboard, Xbox, PS4, coop menus all that.
